As a Solution Architect for Consumer Banking and Channels Architecture, you will utilize your expertise to recommend operational strategies and plans for the Solutions Architecture function with a direct impact on company and IT results. You will manage strategic Consumer Banking Architecture accounts and communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance, influencing business decisions made by leadership. Additionally, you will evaluate and ensure compliance with the organization's technology standards and work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with key business partners and managers within each business segment.
- Communicate monthly updates and produce presentations to senior management on matters of strategic importance to the department.
- Consult with architecture and technical teams on systems design and implementation, helping to grow and develop current retail business processes and technology implementations.
- Consult with senior leadership and IT leaders to develop project scopes and business cases that align with both business and IT strategies and roadmaps.
- Develop blueprints and roadmaps needed to achieve an appropriate balance between IT efficiency and business innovation.
- Develop and implement new Architecture products, processes, standards, and operational plans that will impact the achievement of functional standards and principles throughout the organization.
- Perform comprehensive discovery analysis and definition of client issues and document implementation in the form of a technical (blue-print) solution.
- Act as a liaison between Business Units and Consumer Banking IT during design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance phases throughout the entire life cycle of the product.
- Complete current state analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Combine exceptional interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, and creative thinking to consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their business needs, mapping those needs to solutions.
Required Skills
10 years of experience with 7 years in a solution architecture position.Solution Architect and Digital Banking experience.Experience with Restful APIs and API-led design.Understanding of banking functional concepts such as Customer Authentication, Payments, Billpay, monetary movements, Zelle, FundNow, TransferNow.Integration design experience, including creating logical / functional architecture diagrams and use case sequence diagrams.Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including MFA, best practices, encryption standards, and device biometrics.Experience in cybersecurity risk assessment.Experience in developing online and mobile banking applications.Experience working with applications with significant traffic, AWS, APIs, Events (Kafka MQ Event Bridge), ReactJS Java.Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and proactivity.Demonstrated experience of close collaboration with business and technical owners.Preferred Skills
