About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chair for the Department of Clinical Sciences. This pivotal leadership role involves providing strategic vision and administrative oversight to advance the department's teaching, research, and clinical missions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the department's administrative, budgetary, scholarly, and instructional functions, and will play a key role in developing and inspiring future health scientists and leaders. The Chair will also be expected to balance administrative leadership with teaching, clinical practice, and / or research responsibilities, and to implement innovative ideas and practices within the department. Applicants for the Chair position should be health professionals with a Ph.D. or other terminal academic degree, and must have a strong background in a clinical science or clinical science-related profession. The role requires candidates with a proven track record of academic and administrative leadership, as well as a commitment to interprofessional education and integration into clinical practice. Strong leadership, mentorship, and collaborative skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a significant record of scholarship, teaching, and / or research, and a strong growth mindset to foster innovation within the department. The Chair will be expected to support the company's commitment to improving population health and to work closely with faculty, staff, and students to achieve the department's mission.
