Behavioral Health Specialist / Recreation Specialist

Wyant Woods Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for the newly created role of Behavioral Health Specialist / Recreational Specialist. The individual in this role should be able to train staff on behavior management, decompressing behaviors, etc, as well as assist in writing behavior plans.

Location : Wyant Woods Healthcare Center

Job Type : Full Time, Salaried

Schedule : Monday - Friday, with some weekends

Qualifications :

• Behavioral Health / Psychology degree preferred; Social Worker with appropriate experience may be acceptable.
• Must have experience with long term psychiatric patients in a geriatric setting in an acute and / or long term care facility.
