Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to work up to 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and assisting our friendly team in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture X-rays and other diagnostic images.
• Educate patients on preventive care and effective oral hygiene practices.
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using dental office software such as Patterson Eaglesoft and hand-written charts.
• Assist with the administration of local anesthesia and other procedures as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and industry best practices.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay : $42.00 - $58.00 per hour

Expected hours : 8-32 per week, depending on candidate's preference
