    Job Summary :

    Duties / Responsibilities :

    • Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions.
    • Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries.
    • Prepares and processes purchase orders for materials and supplies.
    • Resolves grievances with vendors and suppliers.
    • Maintains purchasing and recordkeeping systems.
    • Provides vendor performance for order fulfillment, material back-order tracking.
    • Material returns tracking.
    • Coordinates all material return authorizations and verify credit memos are applied.
    • Informing the sales teams about any delays / backorders or discontinuations on their orders and find crossovers or other sources as needed.
    • Maintain product file with accurate pricing and information.
    • Maintain product Levels
    • Calling the vendor or the rep to find any possible solutions to price increases or delays or if there are replacement / crossovers for discontinued products.
    • Updating notes in both the inventory and order entry modules of RFMS with information pertaining to that order.
    • Verifying pricing and quantities are correct on the confirmations we receive back from vendors and updating the po with the new information, reference numbers and promise dates.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Thorough understanding of materials and supplies used in the company.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
