About the Integrated Warfare Systems Group

The IWSG team of over 100 professionals provides program management, systems engineering, software, cybersecurity, and support for Navy and other defense projects, including work with PEO IWS, NSWCDD, ONR, MDA, and the Navy’s Submarine Office.

Responsibilities

SPA's IWSG seeks a Senior Database Engineer to support the Space Systems Development Department at the Naval Center for Space Technology, part of the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. This role involves R&D for space and ground systems supporting Navy space programs, including C4ISR systems development and integration. This is a full-time onsite position at NRL in Washington, DC, expected to be filled in late 2025.

We offer a competitive total compensation package, including base pay, variable incentives, and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave. Salary range : $140,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
• At least 12 years of relevant experience
• DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, maintained throughout employment
