About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Counsel to join its Competition & Regulation team. This pivotal role is focused on managing a range of IP and competition matters, including software licensing with a specific emphasis on open-source software, and overseeing a small patent portfolio. The successful candidate will also be involved in running and managing litigation, particularly in the areas of IP, competition, and regulatory matters. A key aspect of the role is to provide legal and regulatory advice to internal teams and to work with external policymakers and regulators to advocate for a more open and competitive online environment. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, be a member of a state bar in good standing, and have at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in IP and some experience in competition law.
