Preferred Experience :

Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility

Familiarity with Siemens scanners

Qualifications :

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent)

NYS License / Registration – Required

Minimum 1 year CT / MRI experience as a radiologic technologist

Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Duties Include :

Perform radiographic and MRI examinations under the direction of radiologists

Greet patients, explain procedures, position accurately, and set proper exposure factors

Practice strict radiation safety and protection standards

Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively; report malfunctions promptly

Process images and input data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing

Adhere to departmental protocols and policies to ensure quality patient care
