We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Insurance Accounts Receivable (A / R) Specialist to join our growing Revenue Cycle Management team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement from payers, including commercial and government insurance carriers. The ideal candidate is experienced in insurance follow-up, denial management and payer communication with a deep understanding of the end-to-end billing process.

- Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims by contacting insurance companies via payer portals and phone calls.
- Review and interpret EOBs and remittance advice for accuracy and follow-up.
- Work aged A / R reports and take appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.
- Identify and appeal denied or rejected claims.
- Utilize clearinghouses (e.g., Availity, Change Healthcare) to manage claim status.
- Document all activity accurately and timely in the billing system.
- Collaborate with billing, coding, and front office teams to prevent reoccurring issues.
- Meet productivity and quality expectations on a daily / weekly basis.
Success in this position will require . . .
