Electrical Commissioning Agent - Federal Sector

Procon now seeks an Electrical Commissioning Agent (CxA) to provide project support across multiple sectors, including government, military, K-12 / higher education, and commercial facilities. This candidate will play a critical role in ensuring optimal building performance by leading commissioning efforts from early design through construction and the warranty phase. This position requires expertise in electrical systems, building controls, and energy performance. The ideal candidate should have experience working on diverse projects and be willing to travel throughout the U.S.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• PE license required.
• Minimum 10+ years in electrical systems, including design, fieldwork, and building automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field).
• Travel Requirement : Ability to travel as needed across the continental U.S.
• CxA Certification preferred.
• Niagara 4 software certification preferred.
• Experience in Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC).
• Team Leadership : Ability to lead cross-functional teams, including owners, designers, and contractors, to identify and resolve building system issues.
