The Opportunity

Lesley University’s Department of Psychology+ is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach : CPSYC 1101_EC02 - Intro to Psychology; Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-3 : 15 PM; Low Residency.

Course Description :

This course introduces students to the major concepts and issues in the field of psychology. Topics to be covered include schools of psychology, the experimental method, the physiological basis of behavior, states of consciousness, perception, learning, cognition, intelligence, motivation, emotion, personality, and social behavior.

Qualities and Capabilities

A successful candidate will have :

Master's degree in Psychology or related field (required); PhD (preferred)

Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level in the particular discipline

Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
