PAY RATE : $29-38 / hour

Summary :

Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies subassemblies and aircraft systems using manual operations.

Work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd).

Read comprehend and follow technical work instructions drawings and specifications in English.

Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications.

Install various aircraft system components including panels.

Operate mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders tiger lifts snorkel lifts).

Use chemical solvents sealants coatings primers adhesives paints and special finishes.

Work in confined spaces with associated training and certification.

Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

Perform bond and ground measurements.

Conduct in-tank sealing and structural work in fuel tanks.

Wash fuel tanks and perform rework as needed.

Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance .

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.

7 years of experience in aviation / aerospace.

7 years of experience using software applications (internet navigation email Microsoft Suite or other specialized tools).

7 years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications in English.

7 years of experience in advanced manufacturing technical or mechanical fields using hand power and pneumatic tools.

7 years of experience with wiring design drawings system interconnects wire routing and equipment installation drawings.

Meet physical requirements including bending kneeling reaching overhead twisting standing walking climbing / balancing crawling crouching and head / neck flexion or extension.

Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
