The Role

The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions, including revenues and payables, under the guidance of the Finance Director.

Staff Accountants Responsibilities :

  • Track and manage revenues and expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
  • Review deposit slips for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payment documents, confirming proper coding, approvals, supporting documentation, and payment dates.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports such as Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and distribution of checks with required supporting materials.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain organized records.
  • Record and update transactions within the accounting system.

    • Staff Accountants Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable / Receivable
  • Proficiency with accounting software (GP Dynamics preferred) and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of debits vs credits
