Role and Responsibilities
Brand Standards / Management
- Lead the development and evolution of CBT brand standards and visual identity, including design and documentation; ensure that these standards are implemented consistently throughout the firm
- Create a cohesive visual representation that encompasses multiple narratives to bring a consistent graphic narrative to diverse projects, teams, and projects
- Oversee external graphic communications, including proposals, brochures, booklets, and presentations
- Oversee internal / firmwide graphic communications, including emails, digital displays, and intranet
- Develop and implement design processes and standards to streamline workflows and maintain consistency across projects and teams, including graphic templates, tools, and digital asset libraries
- Ensure that all design work aligns with the firm's brand and enhances its visual identity across all formats, media, and platforms including (print, digital, animation, illustration, typography, photography, and creative strategy)
- Create branding, experiential, and signage design for billable / project-based work
Design & Production
Present creative ideas and designs clearly and professionally in line with specific project goals and the vision for architectural, interior design, marketing, and urban design initiatives; execute on these ideasStrategize with CBT's Marketing Department on design and workflow for standard and custom marketing materials, including proposals, brochures, booklets, and presentations; monitor the application of these standardsDevelop visual content for the website, social media, and other external-facing channelsCollaborate with architectural, urban design, and interior design teams to produce imagery / illustrations / diagrams, reports, and presentationsEdit and retouch photographs and videosExperience, Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or similar8+ years' professional experiencePrevious experience with Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry preferredMastery of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopProficiency in motion graphics and video editingExceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and consensus-building skillsStrong typography, layout and conceptual skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and meet tight deadlinesAbility to design for web and interactive experiences. Ability to code is a plusFamiliarity with MS Office including Word and PowerPointFluency in Windows OS; CBT is a PC-only officeSubmit resume and work sample / portfolio
