Experienced ER / CC Veterinary Technician (Overnight)

Community Care Veterinary Specialists, in beautiful Gainesville, Florida, is a privately owned small animal specialty hospital in North Central Florida.

We are seeking a Full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team and fill our overnight ER / CC roles. The ideal candidate must be mature, motivated, and have excellent communication skills. We offer great benefits after 60 days of employment.

Qualifications :

• Minimum three to five years of Veterinary Medicine Experience - Emergency preferred.
• Knowledge of animal care and nursing, especially critical care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and terminology.
• Knowledge of the equipment and materials used and their availability and applications.
• Comfort running the floor and managing clinic flow for inpatient and outpatient circumstances.
• Qualified candidates are excellent communications and multi-taskers, who are able to work independently, and as part of a team. They should be detail oriented and able to provide exceptional customer service and professional client communication.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Veterinary ICU experience preferred but not required.
• CVT preferred but not required.

Duties :

This position participates in weekend and holiday rotations. This position also is eligible for overnight and / or weekend differential pay.
