Job Description

The University of Missouri's School of Medicine, Department of Radiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) is seeking a fellowship trained Abdominal Imaging Radiologist. At MU, Abdominal Imaging performs a full complement of diagnostic abdominal imaging procedures including MRI, CT, US, Fluoroscopy, and plain film. The Department of Radiology performs >

370,000 exams per year and is financially successful. The Abdominal Imaging Division has earned the respect of their referring providers and enjoys a highly varied and interesting case mix.

What we expect from you :

• Responsible for achieving and maintaining excellence in the clinical, teaching, and research activities of the Abdominal Imaging Division and being a role model for radiology faculty and residents

What you can expect from us :

MU is the primary tertiary referral center for the regional mid-Missouri hospitals. In addition to the main University Hospital, MU Health Care encompasses the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Missouri Orthopedic Institute, a new Children's Hospital, and multiple outpatient clinic facilities.

MU Health Care is the only American College of Surgeons (ACS)-certified Level I Trauma Center in mid-Missouri and one of only six in the state.

Research :

We have a strong basic science division with strength in MRI physics. Research coordinator and biostatistical support for clinical faculty research projects are provided.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : MD / DO, ABR Board-certified in Radiology and successful completion of an abdominal imaging fellowship.
