Specific Responsibilities

• Perform spatial transcriptomics of formal fixed paraffin embedded histology slides for tissue-based single immune cell sequencing.
• Molecular Biology : DNA, RNA, Protein isolation, purification, expression, Southern, Northern, Western blotting; PCR, RT-PCR.
• Histology : Tissue fixation / processing (embedding, preparation of blocks and sectioning, staining), immunohistochemistry, microscopy.
• Administration : Maintain detailed records of results including collecting, extracting, and entering data; manipulate, interpret, and / or present results.
• Finance : Order and maintain inventory of reagents, mice, and lab supplies.
• Miscellaneous : Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree in a scientific major or related; or appropriate combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior working experience in a pathology department, or laboratory with histology capabilities.
