Job Summary :
The Packaging Assembler is responsible for manual and automated packaging of medical kits and components following cGMP guidelines and production schedules. This includes filling, capping, labeling, and maintaining quality and compliance documentation in a team-driven manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform manual and semi-automated labeling of tubes, kits, and components according to written instructions
- Assemble kits by bagging, racking, filling, and capping lysing tubes and ancillaries
- Rotate between various packaging and filling operations
- Execute ERP system transactions when completing process orders
- Operate, clean, and maintain packaging machinery including conveyors, inkjet coders, scanners, and box erectors
- Keep work area neat and compliant with S guidelines, including disposal and storage
- Verify and stage packaging materials and components per pick lists
- Maintain detailed and accurate device history records, logbooks, and training documentation
- Support team environment and comply with all safety rules and PPE (including safety shoes)
- Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules
- Perform label and line clearance procedures
- Transport raw materials, rejects, and finished goods to warehouse locations
- Participate in My CI, Quality Spotting, and Safety Hazard Spotting programs
- Assist the Packaging Assembler in maintaining production flow
- Help train new and temporary employees in packaging responsibilities
