JOB TITLE : Aircraft Systems - $5k Relocation Bonus

LOCATION : North Charleston SC

PAY RATE : $30-38 / hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type : Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions :

Summary :

Install aircraft structural parts and assemblies such as landing gear control surfaces exterior panels carpets blankets roller trays / ball mats stowbins sidewalls ceiling panels lavatories galleys doors and seats.

Install various aircraft system components including tubing valves regulators actuators compressors and ducts.

Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers ratchets power screwdrivers multimeters and continuity testers.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school / Associate degree or higher preferred.

7 years of experience in aviation or aerospace.

7 years of experience using software applications such as internet navigation email Microsoft Office or other specialized programs.

7 years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications in English.

7 years of experience in a technical or mechanical field using hand power and pneumatic tools.

7 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system design.

Ability to work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd).

Ability to perform physical activities including bending kneeling crouching standing walking climbing / balancing reaching overhead twisting and head / neck rotation.

Ability to carry / lift up to 35 lbs.

Ability to work safely with high-hazard chemicals.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
