Recreation Coordinator
Schedule / Hours : 27 hours per week. Must meet attendance requirements and be available for all assigned hours, including Sundays.
This position is responsible for :
- Assists in the design and production of bulletins, announcements, and digital media.
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, supervises, leads, and evaluates activities for the assigned program, including ministry.
- Supervises and takes part in organized group programming as well as Army Programs and service in the community.
- Reports any injuries to the supervisor immediately and instructs the injured party to complete an incident report.
Key Responsibilities :
Drives company vehicle to transport Corps members to / from Corps.Interprets through all available media the objectives and standards of the program to staff, members, volunteers, and the public.Assists the staff in the promotion and maintenance of the program memberships.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Physical Requirements :
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Must be able to work all hours assigned.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.Working Conditions :
Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

High school diploma or G.E.D. and six months of experience coaching and supervising athletic events and experience maintaining grounds, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications / Licenses :
