Quality OPWDD Specialist

Description : Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance OPWDD Specialist for a non-profit organization to manage compliance, and quality improvement across our programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities : Ensure compliance with all OPWDD, city, state, and federal regulations. Conduct unannounced site visits, audits, and investigations. Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Maintain and update OPWDD’s IRMA system and internal tracking databases. Support quality improvement projects, staff training, and satisfaction surveys. Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field. 4+ years of experience working with individuals with ID / DD. Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations and audit processes. Experience conducting investigations and program reviews (IRA / ICF / Day Hab). Valid NYS Driver’s License required; SCIP-R, CPR, and First Aid Trainer certifications preferred.
