Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist I!

Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, located at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215, is seeking dedicated individuals for the Surgical Technologist I position in our General Specialty team. This full-time role offers competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15 per hour, along with a robust benefits package and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates who may need to relocate.

Your Role :

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures while utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Assist the surgical team by anticipating their needs, passing instruments, and observing strict protocols for cleanliness.
  • Set up operating rooms efficiently, ensuring availability of all necessary equipment.
  • Maintain specialty carts and keep accurate inventory of surgical supplies.
  • Transport patients and equipment with attention to their safety and comfort.

    • Requirements :

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements and remain on your feet for extended periods.
