SSOE is seeking a Structural Engineering Co-op for Summer 2026. This is an onsite position in our Troy, MI office. The role requires daily in-person attendance at one of these locations, and remote or hybrid work is not available.

AI and Innovation

As part of our commitment to innovation, all team members will be trained on Microsoft Copilot and empowered to use it as a core tool in their everyday work.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

• Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.
• Basic computer, Revit or AutoCAD skills a plus.
• Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
• Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.
• Occasional local travel may required for client visits.
• Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
