Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Augusta, GA 30901 (Georgia nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 12 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 - End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1460-$1500 Setting : Resource Float Pool - Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) and MS / Telemetry Units Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Patient Population : Adults to Geriatrics Scrub Color : Navy Blue Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (approx. 6 weekends per 13-week contract) Floating : Required to all Med / Surg and MS / Tele units within the hospital; possible float to sister campus (3 miles away) Charting System : Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State (must be in hand at time of submittal) Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical nursing experience Experience with Epic charting system (required) BLS certification (AHA) Ability to float to all Med / Surg and MS / Tele units as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work every other weekend and major holidays as assigned Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply! Key Responsibilities for RN Float Pool Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients Float between Medical / Surgical and MS / Telemetry units, adapting quickly to different teams and patient needs Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 5-6 Document patient care accurately using Epic Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, Radiology, Social Services, and more Participate in hospital orientation and complete required modules Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures Provide nursing support during weekends and holidays as scheduled Why Choose Augusta, GA for Your Next Travel Nursing Assignment?
