Data Center / Hardware Technician

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Center / Hardware Technician with our client in their Milpitas, CA location. This is a 6 month + contract position. Pay rate range : up to $47.76 hourly (depending on level of experience). 100% Onsite.

Summary :

Seeking an experienced Hardware Technician with a strong hands-on background in rack stacking, hardware troubleshooting, and data center equipment setup.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining high-performance computing systems, including computer, networking, and storage infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Rack Stack Installation :
• Install and configure servers, networking gear, and storage units in data center racks.
• Ensure proper cabling, labeling, and power management.
• Hardware Troubleshooting :
• Candidate must be capable of diagnosing and resolving issues across three core areas :
• Compute (CPU & GPU) :

Identify and replace faulty components.

Integrate and troubleshoot both Ethernet and Infinity Band network infrastructures.

Replace failed drives and address hardware issues in storage arrays.
