The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for leading and participating in the evaluation and implementation of technical solutions based on the business needs. This position works on all aspects of the solution lifecycle with an emphasis on planning, business analysis, requirements, design, implementation, and testing.

This position provides advice and consultation to business owners and team members for new and existing business solutions requiring business analysis. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for service ownership of multiple services.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Planning and Analysis : Provides business analysis to the department, teams, and customers regarding business solutions including business needs, requirements, options, risks, and limitations. Performs security assessment and risk analysis for new and existing IT services. Provides consultation to, and partners with, stakeholders, sponsors, IT and management for new and existing solutions.
• Service Ownership : Performs Service Owner duties including handling Tier 2 requests, creating and maintaining procedure and training documentation and periodic reviews of services to address problems and opportunities for improvement. Responsible for recommendations to management on the future evolution / roadmap of assigned services.
• Leadership : Provides mentoring, training and support to Casey staff and TS coworkers on business applications.
• Project Management : Creates project plans. Accountable for scope, deliverables and milestones. Manages project risk associated with team and vendor deliverables and milestones. Establishes timelines, and effective progress measures that include vendor and staff workload and productivity. Communicates status, risk and mitigation strategies, and manages project approval gates.
• Supportive Teamwork : Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

The typical hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA is $81,430 to $95,800. The full salary range for the role is $81,430 to $110,170. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.

Casey Family Programs offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, accrual of 12 days of annual leave, 12 days of sick leave,10 paid holidays per year, and each employee receives one personal holiday to use each calendar year. Employees that meet certain tenure qualifiers are eligible for up to eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or placement of a child for adoption or foster care. After the completion of 10 years of continuous, full-time regular employment, employees in good standing are permitted for a three-month sabbatical with pay.
