Software Developer / Engineer Opportunity

TEKsystems has a new opportunity for a Software Developer / Engineer in Omaha, NE. Key duties / responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Support the development of web application through requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
Application maintenance and feature enhancement utilizing ASP.NET, MVC, C#, NHibernate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery (Entity Framework is an appropriate substitution for NHibernate)
Development / maintenance of capabilities interacting with ArcGIS to display information
Component and system test planning, verification, and validation
Troubleshooting / resolution of operational issues
Provide customer and end user situational awareness through development of status presentations and demonstrations

Qualifications :

Typical education and experience : Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience or 7 years of experience in lieu of degree

At a minimum five (5) years of prior software development / coding experience

At a minimum three (3) years of experience with web development with .NET, MVC, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL

Understand and use change management functions for production turnover

Possesses skills to organize and implement operational level configuration management

TS / SCI clearance
