Required Qualifications :

• Knowledge of or ability to learn medical terminology.
• Basic computer skills, word processing and data entry.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate orally, via phone and writing with patients, families, staff and medical professionals.
• Organization and prioritizing patient care activities and needs.
• Read, write, speak and understand English in order to perform duties.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet applications and Intranet.
• Ability to operate office equipment to include fax machines, copy machines, multiple line phone systems.
