Avidyne is redefining what's possible in avionics for general aviation and advanced air mobility. As we expand the reach of our flight control systems—from conventional aircraft to next-generation electric vertical takeoff and landing platforms—we're seeking a Senior Flight Controls Software Engineer to help guide how our aircraft behave, adapt, and perform in flight.
This is a hands-on engineering role with responsibility for developing, integrating, and validating embedded control algorithms that play a direct role in safety and aircraft handling. You'll work alongside experts in systems engineering, certification, and flight test—translating theory into real-world behavior and seeing your work through from concept to certification.
Whether you're tuning an autopilot control loop or troubleshooting a system-level behavior in flight test, your contributions will shape how pilots experience Avidyne-equipped aircraft.
Why Avidyne?
At Avidyne, engineers aren't abstracted from the product—they help build it, see it fly, and talk directly with the pilots who use it. With in-house manufacturing just steps away and access to flight training supported internally, you'll stay connected to both the engineering craft and the aircraft itself.
We also believe engineering excellence comes from balanced teams. You'll work in a supportive environment that values clear expectations, mutual respect, and the space to do your best technical work.
