As an ATS Community Support Specialist , you’ll walk alongside adults on the autism spectrum as they build the skills needed to live more independently in their communities. Just as fall is a season of growth and change, you’ll help participants strengthen communication, socialization, self-direction, and daily living skills that open doors to greater independence. Along the way, you’ll get to let your personality shine, bring creativity into your sessions, and—most importantly—make a lasting difference in the lives of those you support.

You will help address challenges that adults on the autism spectrum experience due to limited social skills, perseverative behavior, rigid thinking, difficulty interpreting cues in the natural environment, limited communication skills or impaired sensory systems.

Pay rate : $17-20 / hour commensurate with experience and education.
