This position is for the Aerospace division in the Consumer Products facility. This position performs support to one or more functional areas. Duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures and may include but not limited to testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics. Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis. Assist in equipment and tooling design, development and installation.
Responsibilities
Qualifications / Education / Experience :
Two-year associate’s degree in manufacturing technology or similar technical degree; or a combination of similar education and three years’ experience.
OR
Current KMM employees : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) plus three or more years’ experience in a position-related field at KMM.
Computer Skills : Proficient in Microsoft applications, email, AS400 and additional programs / software as necessary.
Preferred : Attention to detail, organization, perseverance, quality, communication, computer and office equipment skills. Ability to work in office setting and work with other team members.
