Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Crouse's 29-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide treatment and stabilization services for patients experiencing a variety of medical conditions / incidents.

Pay Range : $33.00 - $47.86 / hour.

$20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, $15,000 sign-on bonus for newly graduated RNs !

Available Schedule(s) :

Positions are (2) 8 hour shifts and (2) 12 hour shifts.

Day / Night Rotate (7 : 00am-7 : 30pm, 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am M-F rotating weekends & holidays.

Night Rotate (7 : 00pm-7 : 30am, 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am M-F rotating weekends & holidays)

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities :

• Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
• Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
• Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
• Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment / plan of care during hospital stay.
• Utilizes and engages in evidence based practice to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem solving situations.

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements :

For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor's of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained.
