Electrical Estimator Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Electrical Estimator in Portland Oregon is between $100,000 and $120,000.

Electrical Estimator Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the full cycle of estimating and analysis, with support and oversight from Sr. EstimatorConduct analysis of drawings and specifications to ensure required information is providedDevelop cost estimate by soliciting specific pricing from vendors and / or sub-contractorsProvide detailed quantity takeoffs and unit prices for review with Senior Chief Estimator and / or Vice President of PreconstructionTrain and lead Junior Estimators in their growth and learning, including leadership and hands-on experienceParticipate in design-assist project stagesMust meet critical deadlines and provide accurate informationPeriodically visits jobsitesElectrical Estimator Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an electrical estimating position with an electrical contractor.Experience estimating large commercial, industrial and data center projects .Computer proficient with ability to adapt to new innovations and processesExperience in Electrical Construction IndustryCapable of understanding construction documents including drawings, standards, and specificationsStrong written, communication and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge in Accubid & Bluebeam softwarePotential management and leadership skillsFunctions effectively as part of a teamExcellent time management and organizational skillsPositive attitude is a mustEffective and professional communication skills to clients and within the Preconstruction teamMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Preferred but Not Necessary
