Starting wage : $15.50 / hour + Benefits

Hours : 1st Shift : Monday Friday, 6 : 45am-3 : 15pm (fulltime) + overtime

About the Role :

As a Shipping / Receiving Clerk , you'll play a vital role in loading / unloading trailers, sorting and scanning merchandise, verifying shipment accuracy, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

What You'll Do :

• Load merchandise from a conveyor onto a semi-trailer for shipment
• Sort and stack cases onto pallets or conveyor by reading case labels
• Unload merchandise from incoming trailers
• Inspect cartons of merchandise for damages
• Audit product content prior to unloading merchandise

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to quickly read, learn, and understand standard operating and safety procedures

Strong communication skills to include oral, written, and interpersonal

A few years of warehouse / factory experience preferred

Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently

Ability to frequently lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds independently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally with team assistance
