Job Overview :

ATC Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Day Program in Chantilly, VA. This is a community-based program designed to support individuals with disabilities and intensive behavioral needs. The program focuses on helping individuals :

• Build living skills
• Improve coping mechanisms
• Develop self-esteem and independence

These goals are achieved through a range of educational and therapeutic services .

Responsibilities :

Deliver nursing care services according to legal and professional standards.

Supervise day program staff and ensure compliance with health protocols.

Manage medication administration and ensure safety in handling medications.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid treatment.

Assess individuals' health needs and create personalized healthcare strategies.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective care.

Oversee compliance with regulations and ensure staff is trained in medical protocols.

Shift Hours :

Days : Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Time : 9 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Qualifications :

License : Current LPN license in Virginia (Required).

Experience : Behavioral health or a similar field is preferred.

Language : Proficiency in English (Required).

Skills : Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
