This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Caterpillar and related equipment and components in accordance with established procedures, safety standards, and company guidelines. You are ensuring all tasks meet company and manufacturer standards As a Master Engine Technician, You Will : Perform complex repairs with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of repair quality and accuracy. Lead by example and provide hands-on guidance to technicians within the service department. Mentor and train team members to strengthen technical skills and overall performance. Take ownership of challenging customer concerns, maintaining professionalism and integrity. Communicate effectively with customers, reassuring them of positive outcomes and superior service. Collaborate with other departments, including Sales and Parts, to ensure seamless operations. Properly use and maintain all required tools and diagnostic equipment. Perform disassembly, repair, reconditioning, and reassembly of machines and components Diagnose issues accurately and determine appropriate repair procedures. Ensure safe, proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools at all times. Complete all required documentation accurately and on time. Support other technicians with repair and installation tasks as needed. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and supervisor instructions. Participate in ongoing training and stay up to date with the latest product lines and technologies. Travel to other company locations, customer sites, or manufacturer facilities for work or training as required. Be available for overtime, alternate shifts, or field assignments when needed.
