Construction Cost Analyst – Forensic Consulting

We are actively seeking a skilled Construction Cost Analyst with demonstrated expertise in preparing detailed cost evaluations using tools like RS Means and Xactimate. This role involves interpreting repair documentation and performing comprehensive quantity assessments to produce reliable cost models.

The ideal applicant has a strong foundation in forensic construction consulting. Prior engagement in field assessments, legal strategy sessions, expert consultations, and mediation support is essential. Candidates with deposition or courtroom testimony experience are especially encouraged to apply. An advanced background in cost estimation is critical.

This is an exciting chance to play a key role in the regional growth of a well-established national advisory firm expanding across the Southwest, Southcentral, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast U.S.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Core Competencies & Requirements

  • A track record of working on technically demanding, large-scale construction assignments
  • Deep familiarity with residential and commercial construction methods; experience with high-rise or mixed-use developments is advantageous
  • Exposure to dispute resolution processes, including legal and insurance matters
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Active Contractor License in your home state (licenses in multiple states are beneficial)
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the state or broader region
