We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding our network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor network activity and endpoint devices to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and implement measures to address identified risks.
• Manage and optimize security tools to maintain robust protection across systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, and internal organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Implement and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls for enhanced network protection.
• Develop and document security policies and procedures to strengthen overall infrastructure.
• Provide support and training to team members on security protocols and best practices
• Proven experience working with Palo Alto Firewalls and related security technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its role in network security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and ASA devices.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and address security risks effectively.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and reporting
