The Opportunity

Join our Advanced Programs team to shape the future of mechanical design for next-generation power electronics, embedded systems, robotics, aerospace, and defense applications. You'll be hands-on with projects that combine innovative hardware with high-performance electro-mechanical systems, and you'll contribute to modernization efforts like Industry 4.0 automation and AI-driven design tools.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems that support advanced electrical and electro-mechanical products.
  • Create and update CAD models, detailed drawings, and documentation using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Support thermal, structural, and stress analysis (FEA) to validate designs under real-world conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on new product design and continuous improvement of existing systems.
  • Assist in materials selection, design for manufacturing (DFM), and design for assembly (DFA) to meet customer and military-grade requirements.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities, including environmental testing to MIL-STD specifications.
  • Contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives, including automation and smart manufacturing improvements.
  • Research alternative design solutions and evaluate feasibility, cost, and reliability.
  • Prepare documentation, test plans, and technical reports to support project deliverables.

What We're Looking For

  • BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field .
  • 0–3 years of experience – we'll train the right candidate. (Internships, co-ops, or academic projects count!)
  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control principles.
  • Exposure to FEA tools for thermal / structural analysis (preferred).
  • Plus factors : experience with Industry 4.0 / automation, MIL-STD testing, or configuration management systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with an eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
