Job Summary :

This role is responsible for supporting the Acquisitions & Integrations teams with financial operations related to agency earnouts and acquisition initiatives with a primary focus on assisting in the calculation analysis and execution of earnout payments. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that financial inputs are accurate payments are processed efficiently and on time and documentation is thorough and audit-ready. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Accounting M&A Tax Treasury and Payroll. This role also contributes to performance tracking process improvement and financial reporting while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.

Responsibilities :

Assist in the preparation and analysis of agency earnout templates including forecasting and detailed calculations.
Extract validate and interpret large datasets to support accurate and actionable reporting.
Prepare and submit funding requests to Treasury and Payroll teams in alignment with financial requirements.
Facilitate cross-functional communication among Accounting M&A and Tax departments .
Develop track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and assess performance.
Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain a comprehensive audit trail with appropriate documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.
Uphold confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information in all operational activities.
Provide support for special projects strategic initiatives and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Provide prompt accurate courteous best in class service to partners insurance companies leadership team and all staff.

Education / Experience :

Bachelors degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience required.

Minimum (3) three years of experience in an accounting auditing and / or financials analysis required.

Insurance brokerage / related industry accounting background preferred.

Strong proficiency in Excel and working with large datasets; experience with financial modeling and data validation required.

Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. NetSuite Workday SAP) and insurance GL systems (e.g. Applied Vertafore etc) is a plus.
