Field Technician

We are currently seeking a Field Technician to support multiple landfill sites in South Florida for construction and maintenance. This person will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks, in order to support the landfill gas systems. Responsibility includes various operation, maintenance, inspection, and tasks, including pump maintenance, flare maintenance, well raising, pipe fusion, reading gas levels with a gas meter (GEM500 or Envisions), inspections, etc. The Technician is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Will need to be able to walk up and down a landfill site and work outside in the elements.

Top 3 : Must Needs : Mechanical Background, Problem Solving abilities, and Understands Computer Technologies

Qualifications :

  • Must be mechanically inclined and have a technical experience.
  • Reliable / on time & dependable
  • Previous work experience outside in elements
  • Ability to pass MVR
  • 40-HR HAZWOPER not required, but is a plus.
  • 0-1 years of experience working as a landfill gas technician or pump technician is preferred.
  • Must be able to handle the outdoor conditions on a very large landfill site.

Must own their own steel toe boots when they start (we may be able to provide a boot voucher in certain circumstances)

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Pembroke Pines,FL.
