Hillcrest Hospital's 4 Main Neuroscience Unit provides medical, neurological and telemetry care to inpatient and observation patients with neurological diseases. Alongside a coach, the RN Resident will offer direct nursing support to patients of all backgrounds and ages. Your role on our team of caregivers is essential to creating a welcoming experience while patients receive treatment.

Our competency-based Nursing Residency Program is tailored to match your experience and goals-including offering the flexibility to work part-time, if needed, while simultaneously advancing your career.

A caregiver in this position works from 7 : 00AM - 7 : 30PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and / or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients' medical records.
