About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of School to lead the launch of its first educational institution, deeply rooted in the principles of Montessori. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to build a school from the ground up, shaping its culture, and vision, and leading a team of passionate educators. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the pre-launch phase, partnering in school design, supporting family engagement, and participating in the hiring and onboarding of educators. Post-launch, the role involves leading the daily operations, serving as an instructional leader, and fostering a thriving Montessori school culture. The Head of School will also be responsible for long-term vision and growth, and must be experienced in Montessori philosophy and pedagogy, with a strong background in school leadership or classroom teaching. Applicants for the Head of School position at the company should be excited by the challenge of building a school from scratch and possess a Montessori certification. The role requires a leader who is entrepreneurial, creative, and ready to take on significant ownership and autonomy. Strong coaching and educator management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with remote collaboration tools are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in Montessori education, with a preference for those holding an education degree, teaching certification, or related field. Bilingual abilities or experience with multilingual families, as well as a background in school launch, microschools, or innovative educational models, are also desirable.
