job_description.job_card.job_descriptionManage air distribution projects including ductwork fabrication and installation Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for field crews Coordinate with mechanical engineers and general contractors on design-build projects Lead value engineering efforts to optimize duct routing and material selection Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with specifications Conduct site visits to monitor installation quality and progress Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure safety compliance Process change orders and maintain project documentation 5+ years managing commercial ductwork or air distribution projects Experience with HVAC system design and SMACNA standards Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications Proven ability to manage project budgets from $500K to $5M+ Excellent communication skills with clients, engineers, and field teams OSHA 30 certification Experience with CAD or BIM coordination software Background in sheet metal fabrication Knowledge of energy modeling and LEED requirements
