Job Title : Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Schedule : Flexible Schedule, Monday - Friday, Day Shifts (7 / 8 AM - 4 / 5 : 30 PM)

On-Call Requirements : None

Credentialing Timeline : 60-90 days

Job Description :

Seeking a Full Scope Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon for ongoing coverage starting February 17, 2025 . The ideal candidate will be experienced in both pediatric and adult OMFS care and will provide comprehensive services in a busy, ambulatory surgery setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Full Scope OMFS Care :
  • Dentoalveolar surgery
  • Dental implants
  • Biopsies
  • Third molar extractions
  • Expose and bond impacted teeth
  • Sedation : Capable of performing IV sedation in an office setting.
  • Patient Care : Provide care for children and adults , managing a patient volume of 18-22 patients per day .
  • Teaching Opportunity : Educator roles may involve support from residents for those interested in teaching.
  • No Call Required.
    • Requirements :
  • Licensure :
  • PA Dental License
  • PA Anesthesia License
  • Certifications :
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Experience : Full scope OMFS practice, with capability to perform IV sedations.
  • DEA : Valid DEA required.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience or interest in teaching OMFS to residents.
