Product Development Director, Camp Jellystone
Main Office : Off Site
The Product Development Director is responsible for leading the product development strategy and re-design from concept through development and manufacturing to the Symposium launch of new items. They will also oversee, create and maintain all product documentation related to roadmap, workflows, priorities, issues, inventory, and pricing.
Job Duties :
- Responsible for ensuring that products align with Camp Jellystone's overall strategy and consumer satisfaction is achieved.
- Responsible for all Warner Bros. product submissions including refresh / redesign to adhere to updated guidelines.
- Sources and develops relationships with outside vendors and fosters relationships with current vendors.
- Coaches and advises designers on all new product development work.
- Responsible for generating purchase orders and submissions to vendors, including any pricing changes.
- Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
- Generates innovative ideas and solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations while driving efficiencies and promoting differentiation in the marketplace.
- Communicates with third party warehouse regarding shipment statuses to and from 3PL.
- Responsible for sourcing and developing all present and future product lines.
- Analyzes sales and inventory data to increase profits, turnover, and sales.
- Implements creative ideas to liquidate Camp Jellystone inventory in warehouse and franchise stores.
- Negotiates with new and existing vendors to obtain the best pricing, lowest minimums, and generous terms.
- Maintains professional external relationships with vendors and franchisees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business or Product Development (Required)5 years in experience in retail or product development.
