About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Dean for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the strategic planning, development, and management of all program aspects, including curriculum, faculty and staff support, and budget oversight. This leadership role involves ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards, serving as a liaison with clinical sites, and advocating for students. The Assistant Dean will also be responsible for faculty and student handbooks, program policies, and procedures, as well as maintaining educational partnerships and contracts. Applicants must have a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, with a focus on nursing and education administration, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative position, 2 years of teaching in nursing programs, and 2 years of direct patient care as a registered nurse. The role requires a current RN license, experience in supervision, and a proven track record of leadership and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be committed to diversity, have a collaborative leadership style, and be adept at working with a variety of stakeholders. Responsibilities also include faculty recruitment, conflict resolution, and participation in professional associations. The Assistant Dean will play a key role in the academic success of nursing students, from admission to graduation, and will be involved in the continuous improvement of the program.
