Position Summary :
GTI Energy is seeking a hands-on, results-driven 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead and support our production operations during the evening shift. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of hourly team members, ensuring that safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards are met. This role is critical in helping GTI Energy maintain a high-performance culture as we continue to scale in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to production team members on the 2nd shift
- Ensure a safe work environment by promoting safety awareness, enforcing safety policies, and leading by example
- Monitor daily production schedules and workflow to ensure operational goals are achieved
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve production processes
- Conduct shift meetings, communicate expectations, and provide daily performance updates
- Identify training needs, coach employees, and support cross-training to enhance team flexibility
- Complete daily shift reports, document incidents, and communicate handoff notes to 1st and 3rd shift leadership
- Support and enforce company policies, attendance expectations, and performance standards
- Participate in tier meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure cleanliness and organization on the production floor (5S and Lean practices)
