• Valid and current Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience OR 6 months of experience AND a certificate from an accredited CDL School.
• Must be willing and able to unload tailgated freight via a conveyor roller system.
• Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements CPC Logistics is currently hiring Class A CDL Local Extra Board Truck Drivers in Bolingbrook IL for our Walgreens private fleet operation. Extra Board routes consisting of both peddle and relays are available. Peddle routes consist of making tailgate deliveries via a roller system to Walgreens stores in the greater Chicagoland area and the surrounding areas. The schedule is Tuesday thru Saturday with early morning start times (12am-6am) and home daily. Relay routes consist of 2 runs from Bolingbrook IL to Windsor WI and back (approx 625 miles per night). The schedule is Monday thru Friday with start times that vary from early afternoon to late evening and home every day. All relay routes are drop and hook. Drivers must be willing and able to do both Peddle and Relay routes. Hotels provided for layovers. No Sleeper Bunk!
