We are seeking an experienced leader to drive strategic communications and media services for the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA). As Director, Communications and Media, you will lead a high-performing team and provide expert strategic communications advice across a range of DEECA portolfio's including Agriculture, Resources and Water and Catchments. About the division
The role of the Strategic Communications Division is to build and protect DEECA's reputation and promote its initiatives, projects and programs that support the Victorian community and the built and natural environment.
It provides strategic advice and guidance to on media, marketing, digital and communication (internal and external) to best position DEECA and deliver informative and educational data-driven content, to staff, the media, stakeholders and the community.
This is a fixed term position available until 2 April 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
